Not sure what the point of UndoIt! is, I always hit Ctrl+Shift+T (⌘+Shift+T on mac) to bring back tabs under both Chrome and Firefox.

Xmarks s another one. Suppoted on all majore browsers except Opera I believe. Works well :)

Hey Geoff!

Chrome has bookmark synchronisation inbuilt, which is cool. Cooliris I remember checking out a while back on Firefox. I believe they also have a Chrome version now. :)

Oh, and in case you haven’t noticed, the new forum can be found here: http://forum.vitocassisi.com/ You may have to reset your password though, there was an odd issue with accounts ported from the old forum database.

G’day Vito, congrats on the new site. It looks very smart, and so far I really like the content.
As far as rocking browser extensions go, I really like Xmarks for synchronizing bookmarks, and Cooliris for viewing photo streams. I use Firefox pretty much exclusively, so don’t know if these are available for other browsers.

Yeah, it blocks all Flash. You can add sites to the whitelist if you trust them.

Ok I like flashblock better as I don’t mind text ads but a lot of flash ads are annoying. Especially evony etc :)

Yah see I use it because I hate the a lot of ads that involve flash. I may try out flash block :) I have it turned off on sites that I want to support such as this and many others

Yeah, I was contemplating putting in Adblock, but I don’t use it. I don’t mind ads unless they’re of the auto-playing video variety, which Flashblock halts anyway. That, and because this very site is supported by ads, so I know how important they are to some people.

Hey, good article thoug you missed some good extensions. Especially ad block plus. I’m glad you put net usage item in there though as I agree that it’s an awesome extension
